Windows 95/98 Setup

1. Configuring Dial-Up Networking:
   Go to My Computer and double click (left button) on Dial-Up Networking. Then open make new connection.
   
   Click on New
   
   If 'New Phonebook Entry Wizard' window pops up. Select 'I know all about phonebook entries and would rather edit the properties directly' then click on the Finish button Click on the Basictab
   
   
2. Enter NJdialup for the Entry name field.
   Then select your modem, and push next.
   
   
   
   
3. Type in the phone number that you will be utilizing and then click next, and then finish.
   
   
   
   
4. Now click on the Server tab. Make sure that only the TCP/IP and Enable software compression boxes are checked.
   Make sure that the Dial-up server type is set as PPP.
   Now click on TCP/IP Settings..
   Configure the following below by making sure the following are checked.
   
   
   
   
5. Server assigned IP address
   Server assigned name server addresses
   Use default gateway on remote network
   When finished, click OK.
   Now click on the Script tab. Select "None".
   Click on the Security tab
   Check the line that says "Accept any authentification including clear text"
   Do not use a Domain
   Click OK.
